A art installation consisting of 23 surveillance cameras, and 23 TVs.
Each camera is connected to their own tv, live feeding though an analog signal who ever that is entering the box from 23 different angles.
If you enter you can choose to wear a facemask or not. While being inside the box, the only thing you can see is white walls and cameras pointing at you, no outside. Only knowing that someone out there is watching you from every side, and probably being recorded though a phone. When wearing a facemask, you hide your identity, causing you to feel a mixed of exposed and free. With no face, nothing you do can be traced back to you, with no face you can not be identified. But when everyone can see who you are, you get passive and feel naked.
As we live in a hyper digital age, now in 2021, everything we do or say is being not only watched, but also monetized. Protect your privacy.
